Folks seem to get their knickers in a twist about creating an authentic BRAND, when the necessary ingredient for consistent income and clients is so much simpler.

Take this question:

“I’m looking to make my brand more aspirational. I have NO clue how to get that across in a brand message. I’m not looking for slogans, but rather an overall ‘feel’.”

The first thing I do with client-playmates is get them OUT of “brand message” and “mission statement” thinking. 

It’s too strategic and intellectual, when what’s missing is the JUICE and PASSION of an authentic, powerful brand message.

“Aspiration” is all about inspiration and hope for future achievement, and you can’t get there by leading with strategy. You need HEART.

So set all that aside for a bit and come back to something much closer to home.

If you jump into logos, colors and fonts before gaining this clarity, it’s like planning the wedding before you even meet your partner. (Yes, some people actually do that.)

You can’t very well craft a brand that’s an authentic representation of YOU until you’re clear about who you are, what you do, who you do it for and how.

The purpose of a “brand” is to identify your service as distinct and unique from others, and doing so authentically and effectively begins with you.

This is the essence of the Wildspire Messaging I do with clients integrating your Heart, Intention and Method.

HEART

The Heart of your message is your vision for the change you’re creating in the world. It’s especially important for coaches, healers and wellness practitioners because it’s your True North for impact that draws your soulmate clients.

The heart establishes the “aspirational” aspect of your brand. 

It’s an extension of your worldview and the movement you’re inviting people to join you in creating. It puts the “inspire” in Wildspire, the spark that begins a movement that spreads like wildfire.

It’s much simpler than it may seem because you’re already living your worldview. You’re already embodying the seed essence of your vision, simply by being you, even if you haven’t acknowledged or articulated it yet.

This is where we begin when I’m drawing out and articulating a client’s soul story of deep purpose, vision and genius.

Try these thought exercises on for size:

“I dream of a world where…” [Complete this sentence]

“If you could create any change in the world, what would it be?”

INTENTION

The Intention of your message comes from the potent offer for the transformation you create with clients. 

The clearer you are about the specifics of who you help, where they begin, the transformation they receive at completion, and how you do it, the more magnetic that offer is for your soulmate clients.

Most of my client-playmates are unclear about who their soulmate client is and the results they’re likely to get, so they can’t very well craft an offer that’s irresistible for them.

If you’ve worked with your ideal clients, use them to map out the specifics of their transformational journey. What beliefs shift? What behaviors change? What results do they get?

METHOD

The Method of your message comes from the expression of your unique methodology (how you do what you do), your contrarian voice of wisdom (what you believe that’s different from the norm in your industry) and the transformational content you create to communicate it.

It’s extremely common for change-makers, especially highly intuitive ones, to believe they don’t have a process or method because they intuitively respond to each individual client’s needs.

While your client’s transformational journey may not be linear, I guarantee you have a process if you’ve been getting results for clients.

A method might be as simple as:

  1. Assess the client’s current health and desired outcome.
  2. Create a plan for clearing blocks and implementing changes.
  3. Use energy clearing, EFT and journaling for implementation.

When you combine even a simple method like this with your contrarian voice of wisdom articulated in the language of your soul, it stands out as an obviously unique methodology.

The method piece of your message gives your soulmate clients all the information they need to understand the value you offer and to know you’re the one for them. They experience the proof of your expertise up front in your transformational content designed to show them the journey from where they are to where they want to be, with you as their guide.

Your “aspirational brand” arises from your heart’s vision, mission and calling for world change. Your intention and method follow. Any strategies you need to communicate it will come easily from that clarity and alignment.

Combining this with your potent offer attracts soulmate client leads in a way that cuts through the noise, no marketing hype required.

This type of soul storytelling and crafting a world-changing message is one of the most inspiring and creative things I get to do. And you’re invited to the party!
