You can buy courses promising to generate clients for your coaching business and grow it to six figures.
You can find free videos and articles outlining exactly what to do.
They’ll probably tell you that the secret is getting coaching clients is one or more of the following:
- A big audience
- An email list
- A niche
- A signature offer
- methodology
- Compelling content (videos, articles, podcast interviews, social media posts, book, lead magnet)
While all of these can be helpful, depending on your circumstances, none of them are necessary.
If you want to create coaching clients, it really only takes one thing.
If I tell you what it is, will you promise not to get mad if you don’t like it?
Because this is the reason why so many of the programs and strategies out there “don’t work” for you.
(I know you can’t make a promise like that, but I still have a preference for people not being mad at me, so I’ve gotta try.)
This is what it really takes to get clients:
Talk to people.
Real people in real time.
Blasting out generic messages on social media or even to a fat email list doesn’t count.
