Imagine yourself in a windowless white room. The walls are white, the floor beneath you white, as is the ceiling. It’s so white that you can scarcely tell where the floor ends and the wall begins.
But somehow it’s not frightening. You’re comforted as the room holds you. You are safe.
Now close your eyes. You open them to the very thing you’ve been looking for.
Go ahead. Close your eyes now and see yourself in the white room closing your eyes.
What do you see?
That’s it. Your purpose.
It’s not something outside yourself. It’s not written on a stone tablet by some fickle god, not carved into the essence of your aura.
It’s you in the white room seeing yourself in that thing before you.
So you say you don’t know your purpose.
Well, if you did have a purpose, what would it be?
Let your imagination fill in the details. That’s it.
Your purpose is whatever you chose for yourself. And even if you chose nothing, you’ll still see it standing before you.
Quit worrying about getting it right. Take it in your arms right now, own it, and swallow it whole.
